Oakwood High School is an over-subscribed 11-16 High School. With a strong emphasis on respect for all, we forge effective and supportive relationships with both pupils and adults in our learning community. Together we maximise every opportunity to achieve success for all, inspiring pupils to achieve excellent academic progress.  We are a Good school with ‘Outstanding Leadership and Management’ at all levels. 

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic staff able to show an understanding of, and sensitivity to, the needs and feelings of pupils who experience difficulties. The successful applicants will have the skills required to work positively and proactively with pupils to support them to progress their learning.  Candidates must have GCSE A* - C in English, Maths and Science or their equivalents. 

The successful candidates will have high aspirations for the pupils’ success and contribute in this supportive role to securing an outstanding learning experience for all pupils. 

Closing date for receipt of applications is Wednesday 20 June at 12 noon interviews will be held w/c Monday 25 June 2018. Candidates must ensure that their referees are available and willing to provide a reference at short notice.
