We are seeking to appoint a Practice Audit Consultant to the Rotherham Local Safeguarding Children’s Board (LSCB) Business Unit
You will undertake and co-ordinate case audit activity relating to services provided to children and their families by and on behalf of LSCB partner organisations. The purpose of the post is to positively contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of services provided to children and their families.
The post holder will need to be a qualified social worker, with extensive experience of field work social work, a thorough knowledge of multi-agency working and the varying responsibilities of different professionals who may be involved with children/young people.

Practice Audit Consultant
Audit Consultants are responsible for supporting continual practice challenge and improvement on behalf of the board accordance with the RLSCB Quality Assurance Framework. Consultant Auditors help to achieve and maintain best practice standards by reviewing and analysing practice evidence and measuring this against Ofsted grade descriptors and best practice standards. Audit Consultants will be adept at coaching and mentoring practitioners and managers to ensure that meaningful engagement and accountability is achieved across the department.
