Salary details: Up to £43,922 (includes basic salary of £40,858 + an annual retention payment of £3,064) & excellent benefits
Care Assistants are required at Lord Hardy Court and Davis Court to work on a casual basis.
Lord Hardy Court and Davies Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia. We also work jointly with the NHS to provide Intermediate Care services to the community.
Casual Care staff are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets Fundamental Standards of Health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles.
Casual Care Staff are also expected to contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible with regard to all customer needs.
You ideally need experience in a social care setting. And have Level 1 or Direct Care NVQ or equivalent though training is available in- house and through the councils own programmes.
Lord Hardy Court and Davies court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37 hours for leave and sickness.
